Pneumonia Causes Death
Last Thursday morning at ten o'clock Mary Jane, wife of A. J. Beers passed away at her home near Flinton from pneumonia after an illness of one week. The deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Berger, Sr., of Blain City, and was born in White township, Cambria county, Pa., May 27th, 1872, being aged 38 years, 7 months and 12 days at the time of death. In June 1884 she was united in marriage to A. J. Beers, who with two children, Lizzie and Lafayette, are left to mourn the loss of a faithful wife and mother. She is also survived by her parents and these brothers and sisters, viz: Geo W. Berger, Dunlo; Joel A. Berger, of this place; Jacob Berger, of Boswell; Mrs. V. E. Austin, of Blaine City; Grover C Berger , of Cumberland Md; and Mrs. Joseph Blakely, of Blain City. One brother, John M. Berger died December 22nd, 1908.Sunday afternoon at one o'clock services were held in the Beaver Valley U. B. church, Rev. L. B. Fasick officiating, and interment was made in the Beaver Valley cemetery. Undertaker J. C. Troxell, of Glasgow was in charge of the funeral.
