Shirley A. (Ilgenfritz) Ehrhart, 65, of York, went to her heavenly home November 27, 2008 at York Hospital. She was the companion of Francisco A. Vega for 42 years.
Shirley was born May 18, 1943 in York and was the daughter of the late Herbert W. and Anna L. (Knokey) Ilgenfritz.
Shirley was a factory worker with Graham Packaging for 17 years and a member of F.O.E. York Aerie 183 and the Liberty Social Club.
Shirley is survived by her companion, a daughter, Melissa A. Baker and husband David, Sr. of Windsor; a son, Jacob M. Ehrhart, Jr. of York; eight grandchildren; a sister, Anna E. Glass and husband Charles of York; two brothers, Herbert W. Ilgenfritz, Jr. and wife Peggy and Rodger E. Ilgenfritz and wife Patty all of York; four stepsons; Jose Vega, Francisco Vega, Jr. and Ivan Vega all of York, and Alberto Vega of Puerto Rico; a stepdaughter, Helena Vega of Kennett Square; and seven step grandchildren.
Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens.
