Charles L. Bradley, 45, Waverly, Route 1, died at 4 a.m. Wednesday at his residence near Givens Station following a two-year illness.
A farmer and veteran of World War 1, he formerly had been employed at VA hospital in Chillicothe as an attendant.
Born in Greenup county, Ky, Oct 21. 1903, he was the son of William and Mallie Hunter Bradley. He was married to the former Bertha Jane Stevens, and moved to the Givens community 10 years ago.
Besides his wife, Mr. Bradley is survived by eight children, Leona, Reva, Delorse, Betty, William, Edna, and Carol, all at home, and Ernest, Waverly, Route 1.
Also surviving are a brother, Seymour, Tipp City, and a sister, Mrs. Martha Blevins, York, Ky.
The body is at the Davis-Hammerstein funeral home in Beaver, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Charles Eyre officiating. Burial will follow in the Beaver-Union Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home until time for service.
