Mr. John O. Warner, 67, of Route 2, Brasher Falls died at 2:50 a.m. Friday, August 24, 1951 at the Massena Nursing Home where he had been a patient since July 18. He had been in declining health since the death of his wife in March.

He was born January 20, 1884 in Moose Creek, Ontario, the son of Nelson and Mary Jane Warner. He attended schools at Moose Creek and also took several courses in night school at Massena after moving here.

On November 4, 1911 he was married to Florence Wesson in Massena. In 1923 he moved to this vicinity. He worked as a carpenter for 40 years in Massena, Norfolk, Winthrop and Brasher areas.

Surviving are one son, Leslie, Brasher Falls; one daughter, Mrs. Blanche Clark, Champion, NY; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
