Mr. Reardon was born in Goodman and had lived in the area since 1948. He was a car man for the Rock Island Railroad, retiring in 1979. He was a Baptist and a member of the Brotherhood of Railway, Airline, and Steamship Clerks.
His wife, Lelia, survives.
