Edith Maude Reardon was born in Leavenworth, Kansas, April 5, 1885, the daughter of Jahu Thomas and Marietta Vandruff Reardon. She married Edward Chase September 23, 1901. There were five children, the youngest being twins. She died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Reardon in Cimarron. She was a member of the United Brethren Church. Burial was in the Cimarron cemetery. Relatives attending the funeral services were Elliott Reardon and wife, of Edna, Kansas, E. C. Reardon and wife of Kalvesta, Kansas, E. W. Reardon and wife, of Edna, Kansas and Estella Jordan of Cimarron.
