OBITUARY :
MRS. SUSAN KATHERINE GONDER PENTZ, aged 79 years, wife of H. A. Pentz, died at 11:15 a.m. Sunday at her home near Plain Hill School, Waynesboro Route 3. She was taken ill Thursday with a heart attack, but was about her home Saturday afternoon. She was taken critically ill again Sunday morning about 6 o'clock.

She was born at Mont Alto, the daughter of Frederick and Sarah (Cole) Gonder. Her early life was lived there, and after her marriage she lived at Tomstown for seven years. For 48 years she lived at Roadside and the last three years near Plain Hill School. She was a member of the Blue Rock U. B. Church.

Surviving are her husband and these children: Miss Anna, Samuel and Emory, at home; Mrs. Allen Hess, Ringgold; Mrs. Lloyd Snowberger, Quincy; Mrs. Paxton Harbaugh and Daniel Pentz, Waynesboro RD 4; one brother, Jerry Gonder, Chambersburg; 23 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the home, in charge of the Rev. C. C. Miller, a former pastor. Burial will be in Price's cemetery. Friends may call at the home at any time.
