Joe was the son of Oliver Mason and Eva Hinckley Mason. He married Lillian Fenner on the 4th of July. They had three children: Michael J Mason, Gail A Fenner, and Sandra M Horan. At the time of his death he had four sisters -- Mary Clouthier, Lillian Magnat, Laura Mason and Hazel Sears and also three brothers -- Henry, Earl and Paul.
Joe was a machine operator at Killeen Machine Tool Co. for over forty years. In the later years of his life, Joe and Lill moved to the Lincoln - Burncoat section of Worcester, where Joe enjoyed sitting on the porch with his brother-in-law Harry. They also built two bedrooms in Harry's attic together in the 1960s.
