Daughter of James Marshall Holland and Tillie Idell Grant. Jane was married on July 11, 1941 to Karl Hausen Braddick, Jr.in Houston, TX. They shared 67 years of happy married life. She was the loving mother of four sons: Karl Hausen Braddick, III; Thomas Wayne Braddick (who died in infancy); Thomas Wendell Braddick; and Wayne Oliver Braddick. A much loved "Nanny" to Lori Ann Braddick Johnson, Michael Charles Braddick, Jonathan Riede Braddick, Claire Braddick, Omar Braddick and Rickie Braddick. She was a great cook and homemaker. She traveled with her husband to many places in Europe and lived in South America for a time. Jane had seven half siblings: John Edward Crabtree, Freddie Crabtree, Louise Crabtree, Alice Crabtree, Elizabeth Pearl Crabtree (Tillot), Frank Crabtree (Little Buddy)and Grace Lee Holland (who she never met). She will always be remember by her many nieces and nephews as the sweet and kind person she was. Her first great grandson, Noah Henry Johnson, arrived safely on 7-27-2009. Braddick, Martha Jane Born November 30, 1923, passed away on November 24, 2008. Jane Braddick was peaceful and surrounded by her family when she went to the Lord on Monday night. A great Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Jane was the epitome of unconditional love. She had a wonderful life with husband, Karl; sons: Jim, Tom, and Wayne. She was a loving mom to her daughter in laws: Jana, Maria, and Suzanne. She loved her grandchildren: Lori, Michael, Jonathan, Omar, Rickie, Claire, Tatiana, Mundo, and Isiah. She leaves to cherish her memories: Karl Braddick Jr., Karl and Jana Braddick, Tom and Maria Braddick, Wayne and Suzanne Braddick, Lori and Michael Johnson, Michael Braddick, Jonathan Braddick, Omar and Karla Braddick, Rickie Braddick, Claire Braddick, Tatiana Braddick, Mundo Braddick, and Isiah Braddick. The family will receive friends from 4-8PM on Sunday, November 30, 2008 at Brookside Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10AM on Monday, December 1, 2008 at Brookside Funeral home Chapel.
