Surviving are children, Beulah "Sis" Oates, of Chillicothe, Donna (Richard) Freeman, of Frankfort, Marge (Dan) Steinbrook, of Londonderry and Robert Cottrill, of Cushing, OK; grandchildren, Mike Slopko, Mike (Susan) Cottrill, both of Londonderry, Danny (Kim) Oates, Kit (Kathy) Oates, Rick (Lori) Cottrill, Nanette (Rodney) Oakes, all of Chillicothe, Kim (Darren Carroll) Slopko, of Richmond Dale, Craig (Tammy) Oates, of Bainbridge, Tom and Dickie Freeman, of Frankfort and Tim Cottrill, of Columbus; 18 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; a special ex daughter-in-law, Esther (Ed) Bergeron, of Chillicothe; . and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother and Step-Father, Cleo Brown Anderson and Earl Anderson; a son-in-law, Clarence "Pickle" Oates; a daughter-in-law, Ivy Cottrill; and 2 great-grandsons, Brandon Oats and Jeremy Clark; brothers, Bob Anderson and Earl Anderson, Jr.: and sisters, Pauline Bateson and Evelyn Garrison.
Ginny attended the Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ in Christian Union. She retired from the U.S. Shoe Corp. where she had worked for 25 years. Ralph and Ginny were King and Queen of the Ross County Senior Citizens in 1994.
Services were entrusted to Ware Funeral Home of Chillicothe, Ohio.
