SOUTH SIOUX CITY -- Steven M. Von Seggern, 41, of Omaha, Neb., formerly of South Sioux City, died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2002, at Premier Estate Care Center in Wayne, Neb.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Emerson, Neb., with the Revs. Michael Malloy and David Belt officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Emerson. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today, with a Scriptural wake service at 7 p.m., at Becker-Hunt Funeral Home in South Sioux City.
Mr. Von Seggern was born Oct. 11, 1961 in Wayne, the son of Donald H. and Marian R. (Van Lent) Von Seggern.
He attended Sacred Heart School in Emerson and graduated from South Sioux City High School in 1980. He attended Wayne State College in Wayne. He was employed as a supervisor at Mutual of Omaha and later at Kinkos Copies in Omaha. He was presently employed as a graphic artist at Curzon Promotional in Omaha.
Survivors include his mother, Marian R. Jensen and his stepfather, Milo Jensen of South Sioux City; two brothers and their wives, Dan and Nadine Von Seggern of Lincoln, Neb., and Terry and Barb Von Seggern of Emerson; two sisters, Cynthia and her husband, Aaron Foix of Hornick, Iowa, and Lynette Von Seggern of St. Louis, Mo.; a sister-in-law and her husband, Margaret and Dennis Turner of Sioux Falls, S.D.; and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; an infant sister, Barbara; and a brother, Ronnie.
Pallbearers will be his nephews and nieces.
