Anna Chantler, daughter of Joseph Coma and Emma Romanda, wife of Justin Chantler, died at age 23. Formerly of Vader, she had been ill for several weeks. She came west with her family as a child, settling in Vader, later moving to Warrenton, OR. She married James E. Chantler on April 28, 1927.
Survivors include her husband, one daughter, Rae Justine, aged three; her mother, Mrs. Erma Coma of Winlock; four brothers, Andrew and George of Winlock; Joseph and John of Warrenton, OR, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Sigurdson of North Cove. Burial at Winlock cemetery, beside her father who preceded her in death by only five months.
