Gloria W. (Mrs. Richard) Aanerud, 73, of Norcross, died Friday, June 22, 2007, at Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls.

Gloria was born on Oct. 31, 1933, the daughter of Hugo and Elin Mathilda (Oakstrom) Lindblom. She grew up in Lien Township in Grant County, and graduated from the Barrett High School.

She married Richard Aanerud on June 5, 1955, and the couple later moved to a farm in North Ottawa Township in western Grant County where they had lived for 50 years.

Gloria enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her life on the farm. She and Richard have been active members of the Grace Evangelical Free Church in Elbow Lake. Gloria will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

Gloria is survived by her husband, Richard; daughters, Karla (Tom) Sargent of Sioux Falls, S.D., Karen (Tim) Sinner of Jamestown, N.D., and Vicki (Dean) Ellis of Ashby; sons James (Tarah) Aanerud of Elbow Lake and Jerry (Melissa) Aanerud of Elbow Lake; 14 grandchildren, Jill (Joel) Herman, Lisa, Eric, Brett and Brian Sinner, Grant, Lynn and Naomi Ellis, Alysa, Alayna, Ashley and Austin Aanerud, and Evan and Ryan Aanerud; two sisters Doris (Lowell) Berg and Florence Westrom, both of Alexandria; one brother, Leroy (Connie) Lindblom of Luverne; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Wallace, Willard, Oliver, Elmer, Harold and Robert; a brother-in-law, Melvin Westrom; and sisters-in-law, Janice and Corrine Lindblom.

Visitation: Monday from 5 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church

Service: 10 a.m. today, at Grace Evangelical Free Church, Elbow Lake
