After more than 50 years together in love, Richard Eugene Aduddell, 79, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2008, and his wife, Sharon Dawn Aduddell, 72, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2008. Services are set for 10 a.m. Monday, December 1, at Hillier Funeral Home, located 2301 E. 29th St. in Bryan, Texas, with visitation from 8 to 10 a.m. prior to the services. Burial for Richard and Sharon is set for 9 a.m. Tuesday, December 2, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas. Richard was born on April 14, 1929 in Deep River, Iowa, to Eddie and Neva (Cranston) Aduddell. He received his doctorate of law and was a patent attorney. He served in the U.S. Navy as an electronics technician. Sharon was born on August 27, 1936, in Syracuse, N.Y., to Robert and Vivian (Davies) Rhoades. She was an executive recruiter for the oil and gas industry. They were married in East Syracuse, N.Y., in 1958, and lived their lives as Methodists. After his retirement, they moved to Sun City, Texas, where he enjoyed golf and she enjoyed bridge and bunko. Richard and Sharon are survived by their son and daughter-in-law; daughter and son-in-law; and two grandchildren.
