Sharon D. Skelton, age 64, of Russellville, died Friday, May 17, 2002 at her home.

She was a daughter of the late Ernest and Lorene Layton Martin and was born December 17, 1937 at Salem, Oregon. She was an education specialist with the Head Start program at Arkansas Tech University. She was a member of the Southern Education Children's Association, the Southern Association of Children under Six, the North American Educational Youth Council and was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Russellville. Also, a sister, Echo Olson, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Paul R. Skelton; two sons and a daughter in law, Greg and Anna Skelton of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Chad Shelton of Memphis, Tennessee; a brother, Bruce Martin of Woodburn, Oregon; two sisters, Phyllis Reece of Boise, Idaho and Myrna Howard of Ester, Alaska; a grand-daughter, Mackenzie Rae Skelton of Greenwood, Arkansas; an aunt, Lola Mathis; an uncle, Rex Layton.

Funeral service will be 10 A. M., Tuesday, May 21st, at First Church of the Nazarene, with Rev. Kent Beatty officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery, at the Gravel Hill Community, by Shinn Funeral Service.

Pallbearers are Ray Chaknine, Mike Duran, John Richter, Mark Shively, Mark and Matt Scott. .

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P. M., Monday evening at the funeral home.
