Wm. Columbus Medlock was born Sept. 15, 1873, and died Feb. 25, 1920, aged 40 years, 5 months and 8 days. He was married to Effie Moore, Feb. 20, 1900. To this union were born three children: Ivy, 19 years of age; Clarence, 17, and a baby died in infancy. He was a member of the Carbon Advent church and also a member of the Odd Fellows. He leaves to mourn his loss, besides his wife, daughter and son, his mother, Mrs. Caroline Medlock, four brothers, Henry, George, Ed, and Joe; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Campbell, Mrs. Ida Rice and Mrs. Charles Rucker ....
Drake. .... His death was caused by a gunshot in the head ....
