James H. Blanton, 66, of Staffordsville, died Friday,
June 12,1996 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster,
Ohio. He was born February 8, 1930, in Johnson County, the son of Everett and Dona Jayne Blanton. Surviving are his wife, Ruth Blanton; two sons, James C. Blanton of Crossville, Tennessee and Jerry Blanton of Paintsville; one step-son, Robert Miller of Staffordsville; one daughter, Connie Spradlin of Cincinnati Ohio; one brother, Paul R Tackett of Staffordsville; and one grandchild. The services were July 15 at the Fish Trap United Baptist Church in Staffordsville with Dick Vanhoose and Lowell Webb officiating. Burial was at the Lake View Memorial Cemetery.
