Entered into eternal rest on January 17, 2005, Marie Jennings Massey, widow of the late Dr. Hal Massey, former V.P. of Daytona Beach Community College. Residence, Charleston, SC, formerly of Daytona Beach and Key West Florida.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her graveside funeral services at Old St. Andrews Episcopal Churchyard, Thursday, January 20, 2005 at Ten -thirty O'clock. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.

Marie was born in Norway, SC, January 29, 1913, the daughter of William Herbert Jennings and Rebecca Ann Jennings Jennings.

She was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church, the University of Florida Women's Club, College of Education Women's Club and Dames, DBCC Women's Club, and a Life member of Keys College Women's Club. She was awarded an honorary Conch certificate of Key West, Florida. She was a member of the Key West Women's Club and the Palmetto Club, the Halifax Historical Society, and the McMillan Clan of North America.

She is listed in the "Notable Americans of the Bicentennial" and the "Jennings-McMillan Faulling-Whaley-Bluer and other early families of South Carolina".

Surviving are 2 nieces- Yvonne Gilreath of Charleston, SC and DeAnn Florey of Clarks Summit, PA; 5 grand nieces; 1 grand nephew; 17 great grand nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice or to Seventh Day Adventist Church, 2518 Savannah Hwy, Charleston, SC 29407.
