William "Dub" Adams, age 63, of Sunrise Beach, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2008, at his home. He was born July 17, 1945, in Lawson, Missouri, the son of the late William J. and Olive McKown Adams. He was united in marriage on May 9, 1981, in Creston, Iowa, to Sandi Herzberg, who survives of the home. Dub was a member of the NSRA. He enjoyed building hot rods, boating, and was an avid NASCAR fan. In addition to his wife, Sandi, he is survived by one daughter, Atrea Poteet of Sunrise Beach; three granddaughters, Aryen, Aubrey, and Brianna McDonald; one sister, Gwen Adams; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 24, at the Kidwell-Garber Laurie/Sunrise Beach Chapel with Chaplain Jeremy Caudel officiating. Interment will be held in the Garber Memorial Estates Cemetery in Laurie.
