Mrs. Peggy Melton,43 of 515 Cunningham St., died at 2:30 pm. Sunday in Gainesville Memorial Hospital.
She was born Feb. 15th 1927 in Chickasha,Okla., a daughter of the late Mr.and Mrs. Henry J. Parrish. She came to Texas
18 years ago.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday in Vernie Keel Chapel.The Rev.Rex Williams pastor of Fair Ave.Baptist Church,will officiate,with interment in Fairview Cemetery.
Survivors are her husband, Harold C. Melton; two sons Dan Barnett of Plano,Texas and Harold C. Melton Jr. of Gainesville,Texas; four daughters,Betty Lewis of Era and Carolyn Balthrop of Gainesville and Misses Patricia and Susan Melton of the home; three sisters Mrs. Glenn Murphy of Gainesville, Mrs. Charles Spradlin of Healdton,Okla. and C.V. Sosbee of Rockwall and three grandchildren.
