Services for Charlie Baker, 54, of Cookeville will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 17, at Dyer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cookeville City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. today, Tuesday, Sept. 16, at the funeral home.
Mr. Baker died on Sunday, Sept. 14, 2003, at Livingston Regional Hospital.
He was born on May 20, 1949, in Putnam County to the late James Edward and Beatrice Hancock Baker.
His family includes his wife, JoAnn Perry Baker of Michigan; two sons, Charlie Baker of Florida and Adam Baker of Washington State; three brothers, Tommy Baker of Cookeville, Larry Baker of Gallatin and Kenny Baker of Smyrna; six sisters and three brothersinlaw, Wanda Mann of Cookeville, Betty and Floyd Green of Nashville, Faye Katterman of Jackson County, Linda and Bobby Wilson and Brenda Mangrum, all of Madison, Carolyn and Gerald Young of Cookeville; a sisterinlaw, Angela Baker; several nieces and nephews; and two special friends, Mike Randolph and Dan Potter.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Baker.
