LIVINGSTON – Funeral services for Ed Wills Jr., 75, of Livingston will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008, at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Kenneth Darden officiating. Burial will follow in Kibbiefield Cemetery in Marston.
Mr. Wills died Feb. 3 in Memorial Medical Center in Lufkin.
He was born Nov. 24, 1932 in Allen, La., the son of the late Ed Wills Sr. and the late Georgiana Gaddison Wills. Mr. Wills was a Baptist.
Survivors include his children, Johnny Ray Foster of Houston, Ora Lee Wills (Rose), Dorothy Robinson (Willie), Alice Walker (Wayne), Evelyn Perkins (Garfield Sr.), Georgia Dunn (Adrian), Arthur Wills (Bertha), Lota Mae Harris (Robert), all of Livingston, Bertha Reggie (Jack) of Lufkin, Marlon Wyatt of Livingston, Verna Briggs of Lufkin, Dwayne Cooper (Lisa) and Anita Black (Mark) of Houston; one sister, Jennie Taylor of Shreveport, La.; brother, Arthur Emmitt of Powhatan, La. and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be members of Travelers Rest Lodge No. 55. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Black, Adrian Dunn, Garfield Perkins Sr., Wayne Walker, Willis Robinson, Robert Harris, Joe King Sr. and George Joyce.
