Mrs. Nancy Ellen Goodnough is dead
Mrs. Nancy Ellen Goodnough, longtime resident of Nevada, died at 5:15 o'clock yesterday morning at a local nursing home.
She was born June 2, 1866, in Indiana to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Andrew.
She moved to Nevada in 1885 where she was married to Joseph A. Goodnough in 1887. She had resided at 704 S. Main St. since that time until about a month ago.
Mrs. Goodnough was a member of the Christian church and Eastern Star. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Stuart Pinckney of the home, and one son, Joe A. Goodnough of Tulsa, Okla.; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Private funeral services will be held at the home tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Pliney Elliott officiating. Interment will be in Newton Burial Park.
The family has requested that no flowers be sent; instead donations to the Red Cross will be appreciated.
