Ruth R. Cobb, 80, of Fort Pierce, Florida, formerly of Dry Ridge, died November 6, 2000 in Fort Pierce. She was the former owner of Cobb's Store in Dry Ridge, and was a member of the Dry Ridge Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, John William and Sadie Roberts Satterwhite; and her husband, Harry D. Cobb in 1978. Survivors are two sons, L. C. Cobb of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Dr. David Cobb of Lexington; one daughter, Donna Carole Swift; four half-brothers and sisters, Harold, Howard, Joyce and Jenny; four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held November 10 at Eckler-Hudson Funeral Home in Dry Ridge. Burial in Owenton IOOF Cemetery.
