TANDY J. SUDDUTH

Tandy J. Sudduth, 57, prominent farmer of the Pleasant Hill section died at his home, Greer, Route 3, this morning at 9:15 after an illness of two weeks.

Mr. Sudduth was the son of the late Jasper and Elizabth Odom Sudduth. He was twice married, his first marriage was to Miss Emma Lee Ballenger, who died thirty years ago. To this marriage was born one son who survives, Elmer Sudduth. His second marriage was to Miss Vonia Hughes who survives together with two sons, Thurman and J.L. Sudduth, and two daughters, Misses Inez and Pauline Sudduth. Four brothers also survive: Will, Jim, Dock and John Sudduth; one sister, Mrs. Lillie Bright.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Mack Bryant and Rev. Walter Harrison. Burial will be in the Church cemetery.

The following nephews will be the active pallbearers: John Sudduth, C.D. Sudduth, Vardry Howard, Roy Styles, Bunyon Bright and Virgil Howard.

The following have been requested to meet at the Church promptly at 2 o'clock and serve as honorary pallbearers: Walter Hart, Holton Morrow, Junius Mills, Clyde Heath, John Few, Irvin Forrester, A.L. Adams and I.F. Mitchell.

The body is at the residence.
