LAWRENCE PIONEER DIES IN ALBANY
Mr. L. D. Free died at the home of his son F. M. Free in Albany Monday night, Oct. 5, after a short illness, at the age of 69 years. For many years he was a prominent farmer of this vicinity owning a farm a short distance southwest of Moulton. He has many warm friends here who will be grieved to learn of his death.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. S. D. Burch, of Danville; four sons, W. S. Free of Moulton, W. M., F. M. and D. W. Free of Albany.
Funeral services were held at the Landersville church and interment was made in the Landersville cemetery. The burial was under the direction of the Masonic Lodge of which he was a member.
