He was present at the first annual EZ HERSH Family Reunion, June 15, 1996. He was diagnosed with lung cancer in October, 1996, and left us January, 1997.
He attended the Pentecostal Holiness First Church for many years and then went to the First Nazarene Church.
He retired from Boeing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Eugene and Rosetta Zelma (Oliphant) Hersh.
He is survived by his wife, Lois (Moreland) Hersh; his three children Deborah Hersh, David (Marcia) Hersh, James Hersh; his only sister, Mary (Hersh) Helton; his three brothers, Delbert Hersh, Lee (Ruth) Hersh, Sam (Carol) Hersh; his grandchildren, Sebastian (Valerie) Mejia, Alex Shields, Amie Hersh, and Derek Hersh; great grandchild, Alexis Mejia; many nieces and nephews.
Uncle Rex will be missed by all.
