Carrie Glenn(Lee)Trowbridge was born to John Trowbridge & Julie Crouch on March 12th,1909. Carrie had 4 brothers, John,Arthur,Homer, & George, she also had one sister Ethel. Carrie married Oral Eugene Lee on November 3rd,1925 at the age of 16. Carrie gave life to seven children, her first was a girl Betty Ruth and her last was a girl Janice Kay. Her son's Delmar Royce,Doyle Arthur,William Eugene,John Elseworth, & Kenneth Dale. She birthed 6 out of 7 of her children at home, all wieghing between 8~11 pounds. Her son Kenneth almost died as an infant due to an allergic reaction to her milk,the doctor told her there was nothing more to be done for her baby, but Carrie never gave up and nursed him back to health with an eye dropper and cow's milk. Carrie was a devoted wife and mother. She loved cooking yummy homemade food and teaching her children. She always had something wise to say and teach. She was a hard working homemaker. She loved God too. Carrie is and always will be missed.
