Joyce A. Morehouse, 44 years, of Hudson, New York, passed away suddenly at the Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson, New York on May 16, 2005. She was born in Catskill, New York on February 22, 1961, the daughter of Marlene (Odenthal) Case and the last Herbert A. Helmedach. Besides her father she was predeceased by two sons, Jacob and Jamie Helmedach; and a brother, Herbert Helmedach.
Surviving are her mother, Marlene Case and stepfather, Lawrence; her stepmother, Lorrin Helmedach; two sons, Joshua and Jeremiah Case; three grandchildren, Jadya, Gabriel and Kameron Case; two stepgrandchildren, Brady and Hope; two sisters, Tina Sisson and Dawn Utter; five stepsisters, Patricia Lee, Diane Davis, Brenda Heath, Ann Berryann, Lorinda Burnhan and her fiancé Peter Smith.
Funeral service will be Thursday, 10:30 a.m. from the Cunningham Funeral Home, Greenville, New York with a Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church in Greenville, New York. Friends called at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in Greenville Cemetery.
