Frances was the seventh of eight children, and the youngest daughter. On February 28, 1934, she married John Thomas and they had four sons and one daughter. After their divorce, she married John Strazdus, and they had two daughters. She was employed by the Consolidated Cigar Company in West Pittston, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.
