Kenneth B. Bischler, 69, of Henry, Illinois died at 10:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8, 2008, at his home in Henry.

Kenneth was born Jan. 12, 1939, in Henry, Ill., to Phillip and Mildred (Balensiefen) Bischler. He married Nancy Miller on June 12, 1965, at St. Mary's Church in Henry. She survives in Henry.

Also surviving are four sons, Kevin Bischler of Henry, Neil (Cherie) Bischler of Varna, and Eric (Connie) Bischler and Randy (Laura) Bischler, both of Henry; four sisters, Frances (Randall) Blockley of Herrin, Phyllis Eaves of Henry, Darlene (Tom) Olszanowski of Henry and Juanita Wright of Princeton; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

One son, Phillip James, and two brothers, Louis and Charles "Chop" Bischler, preceded him in death.

Kenneth served in the United States Army and its reserves.

He was employed at Caterpillar Tractor Company, Mossville plant, retiring in 1999.

He was a member of St. Mary's Church in Henry.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Henry.
