Ronald N. Crowell, 60, of 210 N. Work St., Falconer passed away at 6:50 a.m. Tuesday (Dec. 16, 2008) in the Lutheran Home and Rehabilitation Center.
A lifelong area resident, he was born Jan, 12, 1948 in Silver Creek, the son of Ned T. Crowell and Winifred Panek Jacobes.
He attended Dunkirk Industrial High School and was veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Ronald was a member of the Henry Mosher Post 638, American Legion. He enjoyed working on automobiles, the outdoors and snowmobiling.
Surviving are his wife, Linda M. Wion Crowell, whom he married Sept, 8, 2000; two sons: Ronald Crowell and Matthew Crowell, both of Dunkirk; two daughters: Samantha Crowell of Dunkirk and Kimberly Crowell of Silver Creek; three stepchildren: Michael Centi, Melissa Centi and Michele Thrasher; two grandchildren: Maddison and Brenden Crowell: nine step grandchildren; his mother, Winifred Panek Jacobes of Forestville; a brother, Thomas S. Crowell of Dunkirk; and three sisters: Lynn Spell of Fredonia, Bonnie De Wolfe of Brocton and Vicky Eddy of Fredonia.
He was preceded in death by his father.
