Obit:Mrs. Etta Watson, 88, a resident of the Stockport Community for over 65years, died at 2 a.m. today
at the Moore Nursing Home in Stockport. She had been in failing health for some time.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Big Cedar Christian Church northeast of Stockport with the
Rev. Chester C. Werft officiation. Burial will be in Spencer Cemetery.The body is at the Weston Behner
Funeral Home in Fairfield.
Born January 29,1880, in Missouri, Etta Watson was the daughter of Oscar and Lavinia Barger Turner.
She was married to Sylvanus S. Watson on February 26,1903. He preceded his wife in death on Mrs. Watson was a member of the Big Cedar Christian Church.
Survivors include the following sons and daughters: Robert Watson,Fairfield; William Watson, Apopka,FIorida; Mrs. Ava Litton, Omro,Wisconsin; Arlo Watson, Stockport; Mrs. Mary Burnett, Danville; Floyd Watson, Stockport; Harold Watson, Hollywood. Florida.
She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was
preceded, in death by one brother and two sisters.
