Murrel H. Hook Dies Tuesday
Word had been received in Elwood of the death of Murrel H. Hook, 65, of Dundee and a former Elwood resident. Mr. Hook died Tuesday. He was the son of Jesse B. and Addie Tetrick Hook. Survivors include the widow Eva, a daughter, Mrs. Carl Platt of Anderson, a son, Harley G. Hook of Michigan City, a brother, Harley B. Hook of Grammer, two sisters Mrs. Langley Dailey of Anderson and Beulah Hook of Dundee, and three grandchildren. The body is at the Baker Brothers funeral home in Anderson, where rites will be Friday morning at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the Memorial Park cemetery in Anderson.
