OBITUARY: Benjamin Franklin Hatfield, 222 West Warner, Guthrie, OK was born at Ozark, Arkansas on July 12, 1870, and passed from this life on April 2, 1958 at the age of 78 years, 8 months and 21 days. He was the son of Marion and Rebecca Hatfield. When he was eleven he moved with his parents to their homestead 2 1/2 miles east of Cashion. He was united in marriage to Emma Lenhart on December 20, 1900. To this union were born five children. He was preceded in death by one grandson. One grandson, Ralph Blair is now stationed with the American armed forces in Germany. In 1945 Mr. and Mrs. Hatfield moved from the farm to the present address in Guthrie, OK. He leaves to mourn him: His wife of the home; four daughters, Mrs. Mable Lawson, Edmond, OK, Mrs. Mae Myers, Enid, OK, Mrs. Madge Blair, Guthrie, OK, Mrs. Juanita Whisler, Tulsa, OK; one son Mr. Clifford Hatfield, Guthrie, OK; fourteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Lula Belveal and Mrs. Sarah Hammond, both of Guthrie.
