Ross Kenneth "Ken" Reed, 92, of Everett passed away Friday.

He was the son of the late Ross and Sally Reed. He married Cora F. (Pepple) Reed, who passed away Aug. 9, 1991.

He is survived by their daughter, Carol Bennett and husband, Conda, of Albemarle, N.C.; three granddaughters; three great-grandsons; a brother, Carl Reed, and a friend and companion, Maxine Snyder, both of Everett. He was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth; and two brothers: Thomas and Jesse.

Mr. Reed was a member of Everett Church of the Brethren. He was employed as a truck driver for more than 30 years at New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co. until his retirement.

He was a member of the F&AM Lodge No. 524 of Everett, the Altoona Consistory, the Jaffa Chanters and the Jaffa Road Runners. He was a kind and giving man who will be greatly missed.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Everett Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Frank Ramirez officiating. Friends may call at Dalla Valle Funeral Home, 22 W. Main St., Everett, from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and 10 to the 11 a.m. service Tuesday at Everett Church of the Brethren. Burial will be held at Everett Cemetery. Everett F&AM Lodge No. 524 will conduct Masonic services at the funeral home Monday at 7:30 p.m.

If friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Ken to the Shriner's Hospital.
