Hattie Mae Burcham, daughter of the late William Benjamin and Dona Eleanor Austin Long, was born March 8, 1915, in Beech Corner, Mo., and died Sunday, May 25, 2008, at the Senath Nursing Center at the age of 93. She married Grady "Bud" Burcham in July 1932, in Cardwell. He preceded her in death April 2, 1982.
Survivors include sons, Freddie Burcham of Senath, Orville Burcham and wife, Kathy, of Cardwell, and Garry Burcham and wife, Phyllis, of Lepanto; daughters, Anna Mae Parker and husband, Bill, of Cherokee Village and Carolyn Hart of Hornersville; sister, Clarcy Valley Faye Miller of Fenton, Mich.; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Harry Alton, Herbert and Oudis Long; four sisters, Sylvia Sutton, Corine Jones, Verdia Plunkett and Luveda Martin; and three grandsons, Steven Parker, Mark and Anthony Burcham.

The funeral was held Wednesday with burial in McGrew Cemetery. McDaniel Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were Stephen Parker, Terry Burcham, Mitchell Burcham, Michael Burcham, Mack Shawn Burcham, Hunter Christain, Shane Little and Shawn Frazier.
