William was married to Patricia Marie Sutej on Oct. 11, 1947 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Omaha, and they had five children.
William served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, aboard the USS New York and the USS Baltimore.

Preceded in death by wife, Patricia; parents Camille and Elizabeth; siblings, Mercedes, Elizabeth, Marie, Gerard, Leo, Bertram , Lorraine , Francis, and Louis. Survived by children, James and Suzi Jacobberger of Chesterland, OH; Linda and Jerry Leahy, of Omaha; Mary and Mike Petersen of Colorado Springs, CO; Denise and Rich Glenn of Fremont, NE, and Mark and Alice Jacobberger of Colorado Springs, CO; 18 Grandchildren and 25 Great Grandchildren.
FUNERAL SERVICE 1pm Saturday at the funeral home. Interment Prospect Hill Cemetery, Elkhorn with military honors by Benson VFW Post 2503. VISITATION Friday 2-8pm with family receiving friends 6-8pm at the funeral home. Memorials to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
