Edward F. Hogan III, 61, of Chagrin Falls, died Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at Emerson Hospital in Concord, Massachusetts. He was born January 17, 1947, in Ravenna to Edward F. and Marjorie (Poulton) Hogan II. He was a self employed Certified Public Accountant and was the former Treasurer of Keithley Instruments in Solon. Raised in Kent, he was a graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School in 1965 and Kent State University in 1969. He was a member of Delta Tau Delta - KSU House Corporation, Berlin Yacht Club, Kenston Booster's Club, St. Patrick Church of Kent, and St. Martin's Episcopal Church of Chagrin Falls. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer (Moore) Hogan, whom he married on August 18, 1973; son, Edward F. (Carrie) Hogan IV of Las Vegas, NV; daughter, Kimberly Hogan of St. John's, MI; brothers, Michael (Nancy) Hogan of Del Valle, Texas and Gregory (Linda) Hogan of Ankara, Turkey; sister, Patricia (Robert) Schultz of Kent; step sisters, Suzee Lynn of Warren, VT, Ann Claypool of Charlotte, NC, and Beth (Tom) DeNicholas of Warren; and step brother, Fred (Maurine) Bissler of Overland Park, KS. Calling hours will be held 6-9 PM Monday, December 29 at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home in Kent. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 30th at St. Patrick Church with Father Richard Pentello officiating. Burial will be in Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent.
