Oakland,Maryland --- Richard Cullen Moomau, 38, of Oakland, formerly of Petersburg, W.Va., died Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2000, as a result of a farming accident in Garrett County.
Born on April 8, 1962, he was the son of Henry F. Moomau of Oakland, and Betty C. Moomau of Petersburg.
He was the beloved brother of Robert and Sarah Moomau Spanswick, Eric and Jaime Moomau of Petersburg, Jim and Peggy Moomau Lascaris, Don and Amy Moomau Nemith, and Katelin Moomau of Oakland, John and Sue Moomau-Founders of Sterling, Va., and Adam Moomau of Fort Collins, Colo.
He is also survived by his fiancee, Melody Cauldron and her children, Jamie, Mindy, Stephanie Nicole and Jimmy.
Friends will be received at the Schaeffer Funeral Home, Petersburg, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at the Petersburg Presbyterian Church, Saturday, Oct. 14 at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Don Scofield officiating.
Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
