OLIE T. REDMAN — KEYSER — Olie Thomas "Bud" Redman, 68, of Keyser, W.Va., and formerly of Petersburg, W.Va., died Friday, June 11, 2004, at Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser.

Born on February 3, 1936, in Petersburg, he was a son of the late Cora Lee Redman. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, infant Aleena Taylor.

He was a telephone lineman in Cincinnati, Ohio, and was a coal miner. He was most recently employed with the Washington-Smith Post and American Legion in Keyser. He enjoyed repairing small electronics and working on cars.

Surviving are his wife, Virginia (Tasker) Redman; five sons, Michael Redman, of McCoole, Md.; Gary Redman, of Norfolk, Va.; David Redman, of Bel Air, Md.; Eric Meade, of Prospect, Conn., and Brian Redman, of Piedmont; a step-son, Chuck Tasker, of Jacksonville, Fla.; three daughters, Lynn Taylor and Lee Ann Jackson, both of Keyser, and Michelle Redman, of Piedmont; a step-daughter, Teresa Tasker, of Cumberland, Md.; 25 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; a brother, Emmett Redman, of Keyser; two sisters, Anna Lee Hollingsworth and Wanda Twyman, both of Keyser, and several nieces and nephews.

Pastor Calvin S. Redman will conduct a graveside service 3 p.m. today at Maple Hill Cemetery in Petersburg.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. today at the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg. Memorial donations may be made to the family, c/o Schaeffer Funeral Home, 11 North Main St., Petersburg, W.Va. 26847.
