DORCAS, W.Va. ‹ Henry Luther Sites, 78, of Dorcas, died Friday, Nov. 12, 1999, at the Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Va.

Born May 17, 1921, in Rough Run,Wv. he was the son of the late Strite and Rosie (Borror) Sites. He also was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank "Bud" Sites and Lloyd Sites; eight sisters, Rettie Sites, Bessie Jenkins, Hattie Ayers, Eura Sites, Mary Sites, Ruby Getz, Maggie Whetzel and Lula Sites. He was the last member of his immediate family.

Mr. Sites was a farmer and timberman. He was a veteran of World War II, and a member of the Potomac Highlands VFW Post #6454.

Surviving are one son, Raymond L. Sites, Jessup, Md.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Schaeffer Funeral Home, Petersburg, Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted there Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Paul Dye officiating.

Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery, Petersburg. Military graveside service will be accorded by the Grant County Combined Veterans Organization.
