His family members, all from the Saticoy area, will miss him dearly.
He leaves behind father, mother, sisters, brothers, aunts, grandparents, uncles, numerous cousins and friends.
May the Lord take him under his wing and give him the gift of peace. As Richard passes to his new life, may it be filled with joy, laughter, with no worries or pain or sorrows. May he be remembered for his big smile, his loving heart and the laughter we each shared with him. May he always be in our hearts and never forget him.
Survivors include father, Richard Acevedo Jr.; mother, Rachel Mendes, of Saticoy; brothers, Gabriel, and Robert Pila, of Saticoy; sister and brother-in-law Ashley Acevedo and Ralph Prieto; sister Alyssa Acevedo, of Utah; grandparents, Richard Acevedo Sr., Linda Medina, Anthony R. Mendez Sr., and Alice Martinez Huerta; great-grandparents Manuel and Ruth Medina, Manuel Acevedo; nieces, Janae, Savannah Prieto; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
As Richards death was sudden and unexpected and with the holidays on us, we are asking for help to lay Richard to rest.
Only God knows why you were taken from us in such a violent way. Little Richard will be sadly missed by his family and friends, but he will always be in every beat of our hearts. Until we are together again.
Entrusted to the family-owned Joseph Reardon Funeral Home, Ventura.
