Tom fought in the "Battle of the Bulge" on the Front Lines. He was under a 517th Parachute Infantry Regiment roster marked 1946. The 517th PIR became part of the 13th Airborne in a March 1945 reorganization. Previously it was the 517th Parachute Regimental Combat Team. Was in the 82nd Airborne. Not sure if he transferred from the 101st.
