Requiem mass for Leo D. Baker, 59, former St. Paul resident who died last Thursday at a Grants Pass hospital after a long illness, was offered Monday morning at St. Paul's Catholic church in St. Paul. Recitation of the rosary was at Ringo-Cornwell funeral Chapel, Woodburn.
Mr. Baker was born at Aurelia, Iowa, January 25, 1900. He was a mining engineer and dredge operator and was engaged in construction work while residing in the St. Paul area. in recent years he lived at Glendale and was a member of the Catholic church in that community.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Helen Baker of Glendale; a daughter; his mother, Mrs. G.G. Baker of Mankato, Minn,; three brothers, Roy Baker in Montana and Guy and Max in Minnesota; three sisters, Mrs. Ina Rosquist and Mrs. Ora Jordan of Minnesota and Mrs. Fae Nelson of Illinois.
