DAVID RAY WILLIAMS, 78, Died Tuesday, December 23, 2008, at his Home in New Albany, Miss.

Services will be at 2 P.M., Today at United Funeral Service Chapel with Elder Roger Browning and Elder Larry Wise Officiating.
Burial will be in Martin Cemetery.

He was Born August 18, 1930, in Alcorn County to David Q. Williams and Edna Corder Williams.

He was a Retired Road Foreman for Union County; and a Veteran of the Korean War.

He Attended Bethany Primitive Baptist Church.

He was an Avid Hunter and Fisherman, and a Member of the 5W Hunting Camp.

Survivors Include his Wife, Ruby Jean Browning Williams; Two Daughters, Lisa Sullivan and Husband, Jason of Amory; and Jeannie Hill and Husband, Wilburn, of New Albany; One Son, Terry Williams and Wife, Karen of Pontotoc; Three Sisters, Billie Sue Bridges of Iuka; Blanch Armstrong and Husband, Robert of Tupelo; and Lanie Baker and Husband, Ralph of New Albany; Eight Grandchildren; and Seven Great Grandchildren.

He was Preceded in Death by his Parents; Two Brothers, Billy Jack Williams and Esque Williams; a Sister, Nellie Ellis; and a Great Granddaughter, Elizabeth White.

Pallbearers will be Terry Oaks, Randy Browning, Ronald Baker, Vick Armstrong, Hunter Armstrong, Jeff Kidd and Dustin Loomis.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Members of the 5W Hunting Camp.
