WILLIAM W. SHERWOOD DEAD.
Prominent Confederate Veteran and Member of the Odd Fellows
William W. Sherwood died at his home, 128 North Patrick street, Alexandria, yesterday, after a long illness. Besides his wife, he is survived by four children - Mrs. Angelo, of this city; Mrs. Walters, of Denver, Colo.; Sidney Sherwood, and Rosa Sherwood.
He was prominently identified with R. E. Lee Camp Confederate Veterans and Potomac Lodge of Odd Fellows, both of which organizations will participate in the funeral services, which will be held to-morrow, at 2 o'clock, from the family residence.
