Entered into eternal rest on the evening of June 28, 2008, Charles Isaac Story. Residence, Charleston, South Carolina. The relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Services at the Crypside in Holy Cross Cemetery, Wednesday afternoon, July 2, 2008, at three o'clock. The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL this Tuesday evening from six until eight o'clock. Mr. Story was born on April 2, 1952 in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, a son of James Broward Story and Pearl Watts Story. He attended the Unitarian Church and was a Medical Technologist with Trident Regional Medical Center. Mr. Story received a Bachelor of Science Degree at Clemson University and MUSC and his Masters Degree at The Citadel. He was an avid traveler, environmentalist and former educator at Macedonia High School. Surviving are his niece, Elaine Helmly of Moncks Corner; his nephew, James Broward Story and his wife Susan of Sao Palo, Brazil; two great nieces, Arden and Robin Helmly; a great nephew, James McKelvey Story; a sister-in-law, Kay Spann of Moncks Corner; and his companion, Everhart Shuler of Charleston. Mr. Story was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy and Wayne Story. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Save The Morris Island Lighthouse Foundation, PO Box 12490, Charleston, SC 29422 and/or A charity of one's choice.
