She was the widower of Carleton Eads who died in 1980. The mother of Rita Eads Stakelin, Carla Eads Baumstark, Dana (Phillip) Florence and Gina (Kelly) McIlvain.

Beloved grandmother to Cristi Jo Stakelin (Jeff) Blanton, Tracey Stakelin, Erika Baumstark Johnson, Chad (Amber) Florence, Farrah Florence Bottiggi, and John McIlvain Ishmael.
