HOOVER C. BARNEY, 79, of Balsam Street, Lake Placid, N.Y., died Friday, Dec. 12, 2008, at his home.
He was born in Saranac Lake, N.Y., May 11, 1929, the son of Alfred and Mazie (Patterson) Barney.
Calling hours will be held Friday, Dec. 19, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Clark Funeral Home in Lake Placid. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Patrick O'Reilly will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
